Guangzhou Golddust UPDATE
(Previous versions of this post had an incorrect YouTube link.)
We abandoned a respectable sense of propriety yesterday during a five-hour delay stopover at China’s Guangzhou International Airport.
Had you been one of the hundreds of innocent civilians on their way to a flight to somewhere … you would have seen three boys … and their father … navigating around the various airport hallways … across immaculate and marble-like floors … ride-scootering the luggage carts you see above.
We also shot video of the experience. And produced a short video.
Never mind the fact that one of our bags has gone missing in the China baggage abyss. Yesterday’s baggage cart choreography was awesome.
Love it! Have you seen any of the treadmill choreography vids?
The boys and I love watching this! The song is great too! Who sings it? We pray your lost bag shows up!
This is definitely my favorite memory of your trip so far. LOVE IT! Especially when one of your sons pushes the cart just like the businessman next to him. You guys are GOOD!
Loved this for sure! Thanks for the laugh!
Love it! Especially when Suby climbs onboard! So fun!
Oh My Goodness. This was quite possibly the most entertaining video I have seen. Ever. Y’all ROCK!
Hilarious! Did you get to the McDonalds there? That’s the place where in my high-level Mandarin, I ordered a cheeseburger for one of the kids, but said “ketchup only”, and I got a bun with ‘ketchup only’. No meat, no cheese. I’m sure they are still telling that story, just like I am. Have a great time in China. Mark
I thought S might be hiding in a corner pretending she didn’t know whose boys those were. Whoops! Here she comes! Too fun to resist.
You know me so well! My participation was only under tremendous protest…. But I think the final product is brilliant.
