Today we tackled the Blenheim Palace hedge maze, featured in The Calder Game. Our dinner discussion included “How is life like a maze?”
Some of our answers:
* It’s rough when you fall.
* You can’t see the whole path ahead, only to the next turn.
* Sometimes you get lost.
* It looks difficult from above, and even more difficult when you are in it.
* If you get to a dead end, you might want to rest awhile.
* Getting lost can be part of the journey.
* It’s fun exploring places you haven’t been.
* Someone else with a different vantage point might be able to see your way out better than you can.
* Getting out in record time isn’t necessarily the goal!
