Morocco isn't marked on your whole journey map...fun excursion? I took students there a few years ago. The food is incredible and I couldn't get enough of the mint tea. Try to ride a camel- smelly but exciting. ;-) Facing the winds at the rock of Gibraltar and getting mugged by a Barbary ape (stealing food) all good times!

I would think the car invasion topped with a tradition normally spent at home with family and friends would bring on some reasonable situational homesickness. Pretty normal. What you can remind the kids at least is it all will be waiting for them. However, Moracco should have some wonderful adventures and learning. I have heard riding a camel is very cool and it makes a big difference if it has one hump or two! Who knew! Let me know as I might never get there but am truly enjoying the vicarious ride. This Thanksgiving I had to shop with a walker and while I am not complaining, I am grateful for your trip as I feel I am traveling with you. For safety the doctor wants a wheelchair in the house on bad days should I need to get out in an emergency and while I know he is right it is a mental hurdle. It is easier to disclose here than some other places. I think your trip and your sharing it with us is such a gift. Thank you! Love, Christine
