Unexpected
Land of the unexpected… This evening in Morocco, the five of us are marvelling at a brilliant red sunset smear while careening down a mountain in a Volkswagen Golf. Along the roadside are dozens of troughs of stacked rocks, filled with the onion harvest and covered with straw and orange plastic sheeting. Our socks are soggy from playing in knee-deep SNOW on the campus of the nation’s top university, where we just missed a student debate on whether Chinese businesses worsen the Moroccan economy.
And we are singing along with Taylor Swift on the local radio station.
Did I mention that we are in Africa??

Ok Wildmans, now that you are in Africa, what are your plans to visit with World Relief???? We would love to have you visit our staff in East and Southern Africa. Not sure of your plans. Love the posts! With Blessings, Nancy
