Creation Space
We read the Creation story before embarking on the first game drive of our recent safari.
I’d forgotten some of the details: we don’t read about LAND until verse 9, CREATURES and MAN come much later.
Creation begins with LIGHT and the SEPARATION between Heaven and earth … the SPACE is prepared, in which creatures and man are sent to dwell in purposeful Glory.
Our safari experience was a vivid and deeply emotional reminder that we STILL DWELL in a space of Glory. Sure, our loud band oohed and ahhed and laughed and wondered across the endless short grass plains … but much of our time was quiet — unspoken — as our hearts were reminded of Home.
