CARNIVORE
Last night, Dad and I went to an awesome restaurant called Carnivore. When you sit down, they tell you that there is no menu, the meal starts with soup and bread, then they hand you a metal plate that is burning hot, and then they start bringing the meats!!! The waiters keep coming to you with different kinds of meat on spears and holding huge carving knives. When they put the first piece on our plates, it was sizzling because it was so hot!! The meal only ends when you take down a small flag at the top of the sauces as a sign of surrender!
The types of meat are; Rump steak, spicy cougette, pork spare ribs, lamb, plain pork, chicken yakitori, pork sauseges, chicken piripiri, turkey chicken wings, chicken livers and gizzards, ox balls, beef sauseges, lamb chops, lamb ribs, and exotic meats; crocodile and ostrich!
It was an AWESOME experience!!
Crocodile was my favorite!
there was a “meat” meal like this on our honeymoon in mexico! it was AWESOME and it was seth’s favorite meal… miss you guys!(this is laura smethurst by the way).
Impressive! McDonald’s will seem so commonplace after that!
We had a wonderful time at that restaurant and have fond memories.
Hey Wake! I’m so glad you and your Dad got to go to Carnivore. Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I’ve eaten at Carnivore 3 times! Though when I went we ate strange things like Zebra, Camel, Water Buffalo (one of my favorites), Gazelle and yes, Ostrich and Crocodile! I wasn’t too crazy about the Crocodile…it tasted a bit fishy to me! Hope you’re doing well. I’m praying for you and your whole family. Please greet your mom and dad and brothers for me. Love in Jesus, Ms Greenleaf
Hey Wake, Dre ate there once too!
Yup, I enlarged the photo of the menu and indeed it says “ox balls” – AKA Rocky Mountain oysters, prairie oysters, Montana tendergroins, cowboy caviar, and swinging beef?
