REVIEW
As you recall, we discussed OBSERVATION during our run in Highgate Park on Monday.
O-B-S-E-R-V-A-T-I-O-N
The goal from the exercise exercise was to work on our DETAIL GATHERING muscles … in order to work more details in to our writing in creative ways.
We also wrote a reflective paragraph about the run in Highgate Park. All three of you re-worked portions of their paragraph to improve CONNECTIONS between words and sentences.

PARALYMPIC REFLECTION
We’re going to watch a Paralympic event for 15 minutes.
Imagine you are attending the event, sitting in the stands.
Write down some details from O-B-S-E-R-V-A-T-I-O-N.
Ultimately, I want you to be able to answer these two questions:
1 – What do I get when I spend good money to attend this Paralympic event?
2 – Is the experience worth the cost? Explain.
When we’re done watching the event, I want you to write a six-sentence paragraph … answering the two questions.
Use good details.
And connect your sentences.
